How do we meet with our teacher since we reside a long distance away from Mid Valley Charter?

We are able to meet with you over SKYPE, Elluminate Live! (web based chat), Fax lessons/student work, and ship books and materials.

How often do we meet?

The Master Agreement will be written to support each individual student as determined by the Master Teacher.  Meetings between parent (guardian)/student are scheduled every 20 school days.  As you begin you will meet with your Master Teacher on a weekly basis.

How do I know where my child is in his/her academics?

When your child enrolls with Mid Valley Charter, an appointment will be made to allow time for the administration of a computer adaptive assessment based on the Common Core Standards by Scantron called the Educational Performance Series. The results are available immediately.  The timely reports will help your Master Teacher create computer-based lesson plans to match your child's strengths and academic gaps.
